These sessions integrate a range of somatic practices with cutting-edge neuroscience, offering both theoretical insights and practical tools for cultivating embodied awareness.
Resourcing Techniques on Feb 22 focuses on developing and utilizing internal resources to foster resilience, self-regulation, and embodied presence.
Topics include: Mind-Body Communication: How the brain and body interact, including polyvagal theory and the vagus nerve. Nervous System Regulation: Techniques to balance the sympathetic and parasympathetic states. Resourcing Techniques: Breathwork, tapping, movement and sound techniques to regulate emotions and energy. Somatic Parts Work & Turnarounds: Releasing tension through body awareness and shifting perception with mindfulness and inquiry. Compassionate Space Holding: The influence of thoughts/feelings on physical states. Creating healing, non-fearful environments. All three sessions fall on a Saturday from 2:00-4:00pm. Space is limited, book in advance
